When you use Doofclunk Trades, we collect:

• Account information: Email address and password (stored securely via Firebase Authentication)
• Trading preferences: Risk level, watchlist, trading settings
• Alpaca connection: OAuth tokens or API keys you provide to connect your brokerage account
• Usage data: Trade history, app interactions, and error logs

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide automated trading services through your Alpaca brokerage account
• To store your preferences and trading history
• To improve app functionality and fix bugs
• To communicate important account updates

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following services:

• Alpaca Securities LLC — Brokerage services (FINRA/SIPC member). Your funds are held by Alpaca, not by us.
• Firebase (Google) — Authentication and user management
• Stripe — Payment processing for premium subscriptions
• OpenAI — AI-powered market analysis (no personal data is sent)

4. Data Storage & Security

• Your password is never stored by us — it's handled entirely by Firebase Authentication
• Alpaca API keys and OAuth tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser
• All connections use HTTPS encryption
• We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties

5. Your Rights

• You can disconnect your Alpaca account at any time from Account Settings
• You can delete your account by contacting us
• You can revoke Doofclunk's access from your Alpaca dashboard at any time

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all associated data will be removed within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

Doofclunk Trades is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
